Arachidonic Acids (ARA) is a polyunsaturated omega-6 fatty acid. It is the counterpart to the saturated arachidic acid found in peanut oil. ARA belongs to one of the two families (Omega-3 and Omega-6) of essential fatty acids, which means that the human body cannot synthesize it from other food components.
